Katz Consulting Group's introduces
video deposition technology to address one of the biggest problems with
video depositions - the ability to simultaneously record a witness and
the document, photograph, X-Ray, video or other evidence referenced and
reviewed during the course of the deposition.
Using a state-of-the-art digital video mixer, we combine the
signal from our videographer's digital camera, with the output from a
laptop computer or ELMO-style document camera, creating a
picture-in-picture video image which is recorded to digital tape. The
witness can markup evidence "John Madden" style on a digital tablet,
and all annotations are preserved for later review and playback.
