What is forensic animation?
Forensic animation is the process of illustrating and explaining your
experts' opinions through the use of computer-generated scenarios.
Clear, concise and technically accurate, Katz Consulting Group's
forensic animations simplify complex subject matter in a persuasive and
visually powerful manner. Properly conceived and presented, a quality
animation can mean the difference between winning and losing.
What forensic animation is not.
Forensic animation is not a mathematical simulation, and is
not substantive evidence. It is a strictly demonstrative aid which
is created based upon your experts' opinions and is used by your expert
to support and explain his or her testimony.
How much does it cost?
Contrary to popular belief, a quality
computer animation can be developed at reasonable cost, and need not be
reserved only for "big cases". Katz Consulting Group regularly produces
animations in the $5000 - $7500 range.
Are there alternatives to animation?
Absolutely. In some cases, a simple
illustration or two may be more appropriate than a fully animated
re-enactment. Our visual consultants have the experience to know what
will work best for your case, and will advise you accordingly.
